Do you remember when people used to ask, “When is the Kaslo Jamboree?” We would sigh and say for the kajillionth time, “It’s the weekend before Christmas.” Now, children the world over ask their parents, “Mommy, daddy, when is Christmas?” And parents from Kamchatka to Buenos Aires reply, “Sweetie, it’s the weekend after KJAM. It’s always the weekend after KJAM. Santa would never move it.”
