The “I’m Sarah Burns’ Father” Exemption Rule

From The Kaslo Jamboree Book of Rules and Dress, Section 9.2.1, sub-section 7(c):

“Sarah’s father can play”

IMPORTANT UPDATE

From the amended Kaslo Jamboree Book of Rules and Dress, Section 9.2.1, sub-section 7(d)

“The Committee shall consider, on a case-by-case basis, applications from non-resident family members of qualified registered Jamboree players, provided the following criteria are met:

“The applicant is 19 years of age or older,

“There is a true familial relationship through birth, marriage or a proven non-married spousal relationship”

Protocol
Anyone applying as a non-resident family member MUST:

1. Complete the Registration

2. Complete Auxiliary Form #26 (Non-Resident Family Application) listing your sponsoring family member (who must be playing in the tournament or reside in the Kaslo area), your relationship with that person, and your hockey skill level, including the highest level played and E-Mail it to kjamcommittee@gmail.com when completed.

Additionally,

3. Any application claiming a non-married spousal relationship including but not exclusive to same sex spousal relationships will also have to complete and submit Auxiliary Form #37 (Proof of Consummation) and accompanying photograph or video (optimized for web).
